Shipley Center, the senior center in Sequim, WA, Provides educational, social, and recreational activities, classes, and services, especially for those ages 50 and up. Also provides meaningful volunteer opportunities and fun day trips to area events and some overnight trips. The mission of Shipley Center is to enrich the lives of adults through social, health and fitness activities, trips, educational classes, low-income housing opportunities, and referrals to community resources. The program delivers prepared frozen meals and/or groceries to homebound clients. Special diets are accommodated. Meals are packaged in a microwave safe container and delivered frozen to the client for easy re-heating. Grocery bags include fresh produce, proteins and shelf-stable items.

Well-balanced and nutritious meals are delivered to adults 60 years and older in Kitsap County who are homebound due to illness or disability and are unable to prepare meals for themselves. Referrals are accepted from individuals, family members, friends, physicians, healthcare organizations and social service/community agencies. Meals are provided on a donation-only basis and participants are asked to contribute as able.

Provides a nutrition program for senior 50 years of age and older who are permanently or temporarily homebound due to illness or disability and are unable to prepare food for themselves.
Home delivered meals are provided to participants of the Kitsap County Caregiver Support program. The service is provided to unpaid family caregivers and their care recipient as a means to provide a break for care giving responsibilities. This service is available within funding and eligibility limitations.

Delivers hot meals daily to home bound individuals who are be disabled (temporarily is okay) or over 60 and unable to cook for themselves.
Delivers hot meals daily to home bound individuals who are be disabled (temporarily is okay) or over 60 and unable to cook for themselves. On a donation basis, supplies seniors with hot precooked daily meals, delivered by volunteers in Colfax and Pullman. This particularly helps people who cannot cook for themselves and depend on outside help, are injured, disabled, or otherwise cannot prepare food. Volunteers make it possible by using their own car to pick up meals at a meal distribution center, delivering the meals to local residents' doors, and collecting and returning old trays that were used to hold hot meals.
