Homeless Outreach and Meals offered at Entiat Valley Community Services Food Bank
Homeless meals, outreach and support services provided to homeless and at-risk homeless in Entiat and Chelan and Douglas Counties.
Provides meals to homeless in Chelan and Douglas counties twice a week all year round. Meals are delivered by volunteers to tent cities in addition to outreach services and referrals to shelters and social services. Outreach: Volunteers distribute flyers, and brochures of available services in their community. Additionally, volunteers can assist people with applying for SNAP, financial aid, medical, SSI, unemployment, Veterans' Benefits and many other services through laptops at each site. Homeless and At-Risk Services: Provides homeless individuals with tents, sleeping bags, clothing, hygiene items, toiletries, bus tokens and food bags specialized for homeless.
