High School Programs offered at North Seattle College

Offers educational programs to students who are still in high school. Running Start: Allows high school students the opportunity to earn high school and college credit at the same time, with low cost or free tuition. Must be a high school junior or senior at a public high school in Washington state. Can attend either part time or full time. College in the High School: An alternative to Running Start, capable high school students take college-level courses while remaining at their high school. Credits appear on a North Seattle College transcript as well as on the student’s high school transcript. Courses are taught by selected high school teachers whose qualifications match those of typical North faculty members. Tech Prep: A partnership between Seattle Colleges and local high school districts ensuring high school students have the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school, as well as explore career choices.
