Services provided may include: - Mediation to help tenants and landlords negotiate a reasonable plan to settle any unpaid rent not covered by rental assistance and address other issues putting tenants housing stability at risk - Legal assistance to help defend tenants from possible eviction - Resources for rental assistance to help tenants pay some or all of their rental arrears. Mediation services are provided by trained professional mediators who volunteer their time. Services include: - Mediation via Zoom - Facilitating preliminary conversations to explore non-binding options for resolution - Facilitating negotiations via phone between landlord and tenants. - Conflict coaching via phone to help both landlords and tenants prepare for negotiations they will do on their own - Some simple negotiation over the telephone
