Developmental Screenings and Evaluations offered by Kindering Center in Bothell
Offers free developmental screenings to parents who may have concerns about a child's development. Screenings are completed by trained professionals and look at a child's speech, social behaviors, attention span, play, self-care, vision, hearing and overall behavior. Screenings may take place at one of the Kindering locations, virtually online, in the home, in local child care or preschool setting. Comprehensive developmental evaluations are available with no out-of-pocket expense for children under age 3 to determine eligibility for the early intervention program.

Eligibility
Developmental screenings for children ages birth-6 enrolled in all types of childcare programs are available. Children under age 3 living in East King or South Snohomish counties have access to the comprehensive developmental evaluation with no out-of-pocket costs.

Provides comprehensive early support (aka early intervention) services for children with developmental delays, disabilities and risk factors and their families, delivered at campuses in Bellevue, Bothell, Renton and Redmond, as well as in homes and community locations. Programs include physical, occupational and speech therapies; special education; preschool; infant mental health; and parent/caregiver and sibling support and education. Special programs offered for children in out-of-home-care, families experiencing homelessness and immigrants/refugees. Kindering serves all families, regardless of financial means.
