Junior Mountaineers Camp offered at Mountaineers

Offers an adventure-based day camp for kids. Led by knowledgeable and skilled volunteers, youth learn basic climbing, navigation, hiking and safety skills, kayaking and earth stewardship.   Each week includes a different field trip, based on the activity theme for the week.   Hike include Talapus Lake, participate in a Camp Long ropes course, go tide-pooling at Discovery Park, make bow drill fires at Alderleaf Wilderness School, and float down the Skykomish River.

Apply online. Registration begins in February.

Fee

Members:$400. Guests: $455. Financial assistance is available.
