NAMI is a volunteer, non-profit, self-help organization composed of families and friends of persons who have a mental illness and consumers of mental health services. They offer support that helps families develop the skills and strengths they need to cope with a mental illness. NAMI presents free education classes for families of the mentally ill throughout the year.
