Provides information on veterans benefits and services, information on apprenticeship, and employment assistance with one-on-one career guidance. May also have funds available to help veterans enrolled in the program remove barriers to employment which may include: Transportation: - gas card, auto insurance, auto repair, orca pass, car payment Housing Related Needs: - cable, garbage bill, gas bill, internet, last month rent, first month rent, sewer bill, water bill, electric bill, mortgage Miscellaneous: - cell phone bill, child care, food, home phone bill, work clothing, A separate fund may help enrolled veterans experiencing homelessness with: - gas card, auto insurance, auto registration, drivers license fee, orca pass - certifications, food, work tools, sleeping bags, shoes, work clothing.

Eligibility
A veteran who served full time, active duty in the armed forces for more than 180 days or one who was discharged. To be eligible for the financial assistance part of the program: - WA state resident that is employed or looking for work - Veteran of the US military or a member of the WA State National Guard or United States Reserves - Honorable discharge or medical discharge with honorable record - Deployed away from home in support of OEF, OIF, or ONE (receipt of a Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal) - Experiencing financial hardship where income is not sufficient to meet basic needs. - Transitioning to employment or education and present a discernable positive outcome. ---If one has an honorable discharge, but did not serve since September 11, 2001 in Iraq or Afghanistan, they can assist on a case by case basis with rent, mortgage and/or utilities in emergency cases only.

Provides assistance to persons applying for and/or receiving Trade Act Assistance as well as the Department of Social and Health Services TANF Job Search program. Assists job seekers with job search and referral information. Allows computer access to the automated job search system, has information on community resources and has a Career Development Center resource room.
