Advocacy Services offered at SAFE San Juans
Support is given to individuals who have experienced domestic violence or sex assault through talking with an advocate, connecting individuals to services, and providing a safe space to process what has happened. Advocates can assist with filling out and filing protection orders, preparing for court, and attending court dates with clients for support. Advocates can also meet individuals at the hospital or at medical appointments to provide support and information to make informed choices.

SAFE San Juans
Provides free, confidential assistance for survivors of sexual assault, child sexual abuse and sexual harassment, as well as domestic violence victims. SAFE San Juans is a state certified sexual assault program. Services are based on the principles of advocacy and support. Provides survivors with maximum access to information, options and the total array of resources available to them. Services are designed to be sensitive to the special needs of victims: confidentiality is crucial; victims are never blamed or judged; validation of the victim's experience is emphasized; empowerment is the goal.
