Builds houses for low-income families who need affordable safe housing. It is an ecumenical Christian based volunteer organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing and homelessness from our service area. Habitat builds decent affordable houses in partnership with families in need. It is not a giveaway but a "hands up program." Homes have between 1000 to 1200 square feet of living space, dependent upon family size, and have no garage or carport.
