Adult Basic Skills offered at Tacoma Community College

Offers a variety of classes for individuals wishing to improve basic reading, writing, math, conversation, employment, basic computer skills for transition to college and careers.   See website for more information.

Application process

To enroll, complete the CASAS appraisal assessment test in building 7 and attend a new student orientation.

Fee

Tuition for all BEdA programs is $25 per quarter, with $1 per credit fees. Tuition assistance is available.

Eligibility

Participants must be 16 years of age or older.   Those under 19 must be formally released from high school before enrolling; individuals with visitor or international student visas are not eligible.
