WA Survivors of Suicide offered by Crisis Connections
Provides professional support for adult families and friends of someone who has completed suicide. Online drop-in groups provide education and peer support. Groups are designed to address the feelings of guilt, grief, shame, isolation or confusion commonly experienced by survivors. Sends care packages to those who are recently bereaved by a suicide. Included in this package are materials on grief after a suicide as well as comfort items found to be helpful by other survivors of suicide loss. These care packages are currently available for free to families living in Washington. Information and referrals to other appropriate agencies via the Crisis Line are also available.
