Issues expedited U. S. passports and passport cards to U. S. citizens. Passport books and cards are valid for 10 years; those for minors (under 16) are valid for five years. The passport card (not the passport book) is only valid for land and sea travel between the United States and Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda.

Call to make an appointment. For status of passport application, check online at travel. state.gov/passport/get/status/status_2567. html. For a list of non-expedited passport acceptance facilities, visit https://iafdb. travel. state.gov/ You can now apply for routine service and expect to receive a passport in 10-13 weeks. You also have the option of paying an additional $60 for expedited service to receive your passport in 7-9 weeks. These processing times apply to applications submitted by mail and in-person at an acceptance facility in your community. Most acceptance facilities such as post offices, clerks of court, and libraries are open and accepting passport applications. We encourage you to apply by mail when possible because it is a safe, contactless option for certain services. To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect the workforce and customers, currently prioritizing in-person appointments at passport agencies and centers for customers who are traveling internationally in the next 72 hours (3 business days) due to a life-or-death emergency. Many passport agencies and centers are offering a limited number of appointments for customers who have urgent international travel in the next 72 hours (3 business days) for reasons other than a life-or-death emergency.
Fee
Applicants must pay the $60 expedite fee in addition to application fees to apply at this agency. Passport Book: Appointment is free. INITIAL PASSPORT: $130 plus $35 execution fee. RENEWAL (if passport issued within the past 15 years and if age 16 or older when last passport was issued): $130. MINOR (under age 16): $110. plus $35 execution fee. Passport Card: Appointment is free. INITIAL PASSPORT CARD: $30 plus $35 execution fee. RENEWAL (if passport book or card issued within the past 15 years and if age 16 or older when last passport book/card was issued): $30 . MINOR (under age 16): $15 plus $35 execution fee.
Eligibility
Customers who are traveling, or submitting their passports for foreign visas, within 3 days. If not traveling, or not needing to submit your passport for foreign visas, apply at a Passport Application Acceptance Facility.
