Permanent Supportive Housing for Homeless Families offered at Blue Mountain Action Council

Operates a 12-unit permanent supportive housing apartment complex for homeless families with children under age 18. Two- and three-bedroom units available; one two-bedroom unit is for the Resident Manager. Full-time, on-site case manager assists families in identifying goals to remove barriers to permanent housing, develop service plans, and coordinate with other service providers. Monthly life skill classes arranged by the case manager are designed to teach topics in which residents have expressed interest and to encourage them to complete their goals and obtain non-supported permanent housing. Complex includes: community room for group meetings, life skills classes, and social events (reservations available for individual family social events); laundry room; computer lab; and on-site case manager's office.
