FASt Friends Parent/Caregiver Peer Support Groups offered at FASD Focus NW
FASt Friends Parent/Caregiver Peer Support Groups offered at FASD Focus NW
Offers support groups for parents and caregivers of individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). Groups are a chance to build community, make connections and share ideas. To know that no one is alone. Each group meeting starts with a mini training and the remaining time is spent sharing joys as well as tears, asking questions, and offering and receiving support from the attending members. All groups are volunteer ran and peer-lead. Community is important, people who "get it," who understand.
