Offers places where SENIOR (65 and older) community members can receive free food. Food is laid out in a self-service farmer's market style at site locations. Community members help themselves as to what they need. Must be able to stand in line and travel to food locations. First come, first serve. Senior resource. In-Community farm to table fresh produce gives. Helping seniors reach, or maintain, self-sufficiency. Must be able to travel to give locations. Mobilized pantry and surplus food distribution via in-community free food markets. Senior and disability food resources via in community table gives Spanaway, Puyallup, Yelm, Roy, Lakewood, Tacoma, Rainier, Graham, Kapowisin, Morton, Fredrickson, Kent, Burien. Serves as an emergency food distributor to free meal sites, churches, shelters and food banks in Pierce, King, Thurston, Mason and Lewis counties. Providing a consistent, diverse and nutritious food supply. Offers an opportunity for local emergency meal sites to partner and gain access to food distribution to the community. Offers help during natural disasters, crisis, and Covid-19, to seniors, the disabled, and homebound.
