Chronic Disease Prevention offered by Thurston County Public Health and Social Services
Aims to bring about community changes that make it easier for residents to engage in healthier behaviors and support lifelong healthier living. Educates individuals and the community about the simple things that can be done to prevent many chronic diseases, such as asthma, diabetes, and heart disease. These involve staying active in daily life, eating well, managing chronic pain and illness, and avoiding asthma triggers.
