Specialty Health Care offered by Project Access Northwest

Works with low-income, uninsured clients who get their primary care services in a community clinic or free clinic and have their doctor's referral for specialty medical care. Refers clients to a network of specialists and hospitals who have agreed to donate their care and services to this patient population. Arranges for interpretive services when needed and provides other case management services to ensure the client receives the specialty care he/she needs. Clients may self-refer for donated dental care or behavioral health counseling services. Clients may also self-refer for assistance with food, housing, and other resources.

Application process

Varies depending on services needed. A short, confidential phone screening will be conducted by a member of the care coordination team Once complete, you will be referred to a screened, “best-fit” provider to meet your needs.

Available to those living at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level.
