Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) offered by Community Child Care Center at Greyhound Way
Provides early preschool education for children 3-5 years old in 7 communities throughout Whitman County. Provides learning environments that foster intellectual, social, physical, and emotional growth. Assists families with support, community resource referrals, and health screenings for each child within the first 90 days of program enrollment. Evaluates child's medical, dental, and mental health, and nutritional needs.

Head Start / Early Head Start / ECEAP and Child Care services provided in 7 communities throughout Whitman County. Head Start / ECEAP provides services for comprehensive child and family support services for low-income families at no cost. Early Head Start is a home visiting program for pregnant women and children birth to three. Child care is a tuition based program and accepts Working Care Connections from DSHS with parent co-pay. Head Start / EHS / ECEAP services are free for qualifying families.
