Provides education for students in K-12th grades needing an alternative learning environment. This model is often referred to as "home schooling" by both parents and school staff but should not be confused with "home based instruction" where the student is not involved with the school district. Although the vernacular term "home schooling" is often used by the public to refer to "home based instruction", the two are not connected nor are they the same program.
