Offers a 2 week in-person course meeting on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays from 10am - 11:30am, and offered monthly. There is an online course option available by appointment only. Register for course at www.Goodwillwa.as.me As a student entering Goodwill’s Financial Education course, you will build the skills necessary to be successful– from basic budgeting and goals planning, to making effective financial decisions, the costs of making and maintaining major purchases, and how to calculate price per unit. This class provides a safe space to practice your financial management skills, with the goal of building the confidence you can use in real life and pass on generationally. This course also provides basic knowledge to make you a great employment candidate for entry level banking jobs. In the course you will cover the topics: • Money Management • SMART Financial planning • Banking and Savings • FICO Credit • Money in the Marketplace • Protect your Finances HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE • FREE access to one-on-one Financial coaching • Tacoma Public Utility Customers enrolled in TPU’s Discount Rate or BCAP program may qualify for up to $160 in utility credit, ask us how

Operates 36 retail stores in over 15 counties, and 5 in-person Work Opportunity Centers in Tacoma, Longview, Union Gap, Lacey, and Kent. Hosts a Digital Work Opportunity Center that is accessible to anyone with an internet connected device. Work Opportunity Centers provide Vocational Job training and Life Skills classes that are open to the community. Operate a licensed Vocational Training School and numerous community-based training and support programs, providing thousands of people throughout the 15-county region the education and life skills they need to achieve long-term success. Programs are based on the current needs of the communities served, and the goal is to have each person leave a programs with the tools necessary to gain employment and a career path.
