Community Outreach Services offered at Pierce County Library System - Processing and Administrative Center
Addresses the needs of people who are unable to regularly visit a library branch or use regular services. Information on these services is available from the Community Outreach Services Department at the Processing and Administrative Center. Residents in adult care facilities in the Library's service area are served by monthly visits of the Community Outreach Services Department staff. Residents of the library's service area who are confined to their homes can receive monthly visits by a Community Outreach Services Department staff member. Offers a range of services for both children and adults with hearing impairment. Large Print and Talking Books are available through all Pierce County Library System branches, adult care facilities and homebound services. Some services are provided for persons speaking Spanish, Korean and other world languages.
