The following services/departments are available to the citizens of Clallam County: Assessor (Appraisal of all taxable real and personal property within Clallam County), Auditor (Vehicle/Vessel Licensing, Elections & Voter Registration, Financial Services, Marriage Licenses, Document Recording), Board of Equalization (Has the responsibility to determine whether the assessed value of your property represents 100% of the property's fair market value, Boundary Review Board (Provides for independent review of issues that arise when governments propose to change jurisdictional boundaries, Commissioners (Legislative authority of Clallam County), Community Development (Responsible for comprehensive planning, zoning, and processing of development and building permits), WSU Cooperative Extension (Gleaning, Master Gardeners, Agriculture, 4-H, Water and Natural Resources, Waste Prevention, Community Health and Food Access), Clerk of Superior Court (Responsible for filing and index all records filed for the Clallam County Superior Courts and Family Court), District Court I & II (west-end of Clallam County) (State court of limited jurisdiction including traffic violations and misdemeanors), Emergency Management (Plans for and responds to both natural and man-made disasters), Health & Human Services - Administrative, Environmental Health (Drinking water, food safety, on-site septic, hazardous waste, solid waste, shellfish, surface water quality), Human Services (Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities, Prevention and Substance Abuse), Public Health Services (Birth & Death Certificates, Communicable Diseases, Immunizations, WIC (Women, Infants and Children)), Human Resources & Risk Management, Information Technology, Juvenile and Family Services, Parks, Fair & Facilities, Prosecuting Attorney (Coroner, Civil Division, Criminal Division, Child Support Division, Victim Witness Services), Roads (Port Angeles, Sequim, Forks), Sheriff's Office, Superior Court (including Juvenile Court, Family Court, and Therapeutic Court), and the Treasurer's Office.
