Application process

Burn permits can be obtained for free online for residents of the district by visiting www.mvfire.org. Burn Permits are not available for those within Black Diamond City Limits or any "Urban Growth Development area", as outlined by King County and/ or Puget Sound Clean Air.

Eligibility

Those that live within the fire district, an area immediately east of Auburn between the Green and White rivers in unincorporated King County (Auburn, Kent & Enumclaw), the City of Black Diamond and portion of the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe.

Mountain View Fire and Rescue

Provides fire fighting, fire prevention and emergency medical and rescue services for the area immediately east of Auburn between the Green and White rivers. Group CPR and First Aid classes are available on an arranged basis. Notary service, burn permits, blood pressure checks and voter registration are also provided. Safe Place for Newborns drop-off site (within 72-hours of birth) at Station 92, 96 or 98.
