Legal Permanent Residents enroll in Citizenship Education to learn about civil participation and U.S. history in preparation to apply for naturalization. Through the course, students also learn details about the naturalization process. Offers classes quarterly (every 3 months) in Yakima in different locations.

La Casa Hogar connects and educates Latino families, to transform lives and strengthen our Yakima Valley. La Casa fulfills its mission through offering three programs: Adult Education (English, Pre-GED, nutrition, and civic engagement); Early Learning for children ages 3-5, and Citizenship and Naturalization services. Each year, La Casa serves around 600 people through all of its programs. La Casa is also BIA-accredited which allows for the organization to file the N400 Citizenship application on behalf of students who are lawful permanent residents and eligible for citizenship.
