Description

Provides a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach to addressing child physical and sexual abuse, including investigation, advocacy, and therapeutic interventions. Offers services such as: - Forensic interviews - Medical evaluations (available by referral from law enforcement or Child Protective Services only) - Case tracking and review - Case staffing - Education and outreach Facilitates individual, group, and family therapy specifically for victims of child sexual abuse. Participation in the therapy program requires a referral from Child Protective Services, law enforcement, or a medical provider, and a history of sexual abuse is necessary for eligibility. Collaborates with the Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney, Providence St. Peter Hospital Sexual Assault Clinic, and Child Protective Services to provide services, which include forensic interviews, medical evaluations, case staffing, case tracking, advocacy, education, and prevention services.
