Health Care Support for Individuals with HIV/AIDS offered by Washington State Department of Health's Office of Infectious Disease
Provides assistance with health care costs related to provider, mental health, dental and laboratory services. Assists clients in enrolling in health insurance and pays insurance premiums. Refers income eligible individuals to WA Apple Health (Medicaid). Helps pay for HIV-related prescription medications. Issues a card that clients bring to a contracted pharmacy to get their medications. Some clients have a small monthly cost share. Refers individuals to medical case managers who can help them obtain medical, housing, food and transportation assistance.

Program serves individuals in Washington state who are: - Diagnosed HIV seropositive - At or below 400 percent of the Federal Poverty Level - Not receiving coverage through WA Apple Health (Medicaid) or other government programs
