Accepts donations of several items. Hosts a Wrapped with Love Blanket Drive - collecting brand new blankets and/or sleeping bags for those who are less fortunate. Families transitioning in and out of shelters lose belongings and valuable items, forcing them to start over or find ways to adapt. Through the outreach program parents, children, and the homeless receive a warm blanket just for them. Generous donations will be distributed to low-income families who make up a huge population of homeless people today in Pierce and South King County. This blanket drive will demonstrate aspects of how well organizations are connected and what it looks like to demonstrate community outreach within a community.

Our Mission True Blessing provides culturally responsive support to families, at-risk youth, and immigrants in low-income areas. We endorse and influence self-sufficient skills that aid in healthy and sustainable independence. Our one-on-one progressive case management proves to be the key component to bridging the gap in families, immigrants, and at-risk youth needs. Clients receive progressive case management services and are screened for imminent risk of homelessness and/or needs. The agency conducts a 24-hour follow-up that consists of screened services to address the client’s emergent or non-emergent needs. In the screening process, the agency provides progressive case management support services that support the client process while delegating emotional or non-emotional concerns. Our agency provides a sense of trust and security to all clients no matter of gender, color, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. Our ability to relate and demonstrate self-sufficiency plays a significant role in the success of many of our clients escaping generational poverty.
