Provides free academic and hands-on technical career training to high school students from sixteen school districts. Adults are also eligible to enroll through Yakima Valley Community College. Works closely with Yakima Valley Community College, Perry Technical Institute, The Pacific NW Regional Council of Carpenters, Job Corp, The City of Yakima, and other technical and community colleges to provide advanced placement, apprenticeship training, and free college credits for high school students. Programs may include: - Aerial Vehicle Operation & Design - Automation Technology - Automotive Collision Repair - Automotive Technology - Business Administration - Construction Trades - Cosmetology - Culinary Arts Management - Cybersecurity - Dental Assisting - Electrician - Entertainment Media Production - Firefighting - Law Enforcement - Nursing Assistant (Yakima & Sunnyside) - Physical Therapy Technician - Summer School - Welding (Sunnyside)

Application process
High school students enroll at YV-TECH by contacting their high school counselor for enrollment information. GED, private and home schooled students may also contact the YV-TECH Student Services Office directly or call (509) 573-5510 for information and/or tours. YVCC students enroll through the registration office at YVCC. Interested students can contact the Student Services Coordinator (509) 573-5510 at YV-TECH and interview with the instructor prior to enrollment.

Eligibility
Students from area high schools, private schools and GED students are eligible to attend YV-TECH. Adults are also eligible to enroll through Yakima Valley Community College. A few classes have special requirements or prerequisites, but all classes are open to anyone who qualifies.
