Low Income Spay Neuter Program offered at Auburn Valley Humane Society

Offers low-cost dog and cat spay/neuter program for low-income individuals and families. Low cost vaccines, flea treatment, microchipping, and cat FIV/FELV tests are available and are provided at the Spay/Neuter appointment.

Application process

Download and print or visit in person to pick up an application. Fill out one application for each pet receiving services. Spay/neuter appointments may be scheduled when dropping off application. Wait time for an appointment varies.

Fee

Cats:   -  Neuter: $50 -  Spay: $70 -  Feral cats (spay or neuter): $25   Dog Neuter:   -  Under 50lbs: $95 -  51-75lbs: $110 -  76-100lbs: $125 -  Over 100lbs: $140 Dog Spay:   -  Under 50lbs: $105 -  51-75lbs: $120 -  76-100lbs: $135 -  Over 100lbs: $150

Eligibility

Pet owners who live in King and Pierce County who receive federal or state financial assistance or are at or below 80% of the Area Median Income. Must live in King County to receive a fee waived Microchip with SPOT Cat Spay or Neuter and an additional discount on SPOT Cat Spay or Neuter.
