Office of Professional Accountability offered by Seattle Police Department at Headquarters

Investigates complaints of police misconduct made by members of the community and complaints made internally by members of the Seattle Police Department.   Every allegation of misconduct by an SPD employee goes through an extensive review process and is independently investigated.

Call or email to file a complaint. Individuals can also register a complaint in person. The office is located separately from the Police Department Headquarters and separate from the precincts on the 18th floor.
