Offers materials for all ages: books, magazines, newspapers, CD's, videos, and cassettes. Offers the Handforth Gallery, Storytimes and Crafts, Tacoma Reads Together, summer reading club, book discussion resources, and computer labs with internet access. Also provides remote access to full-text articles from hundreds of magazines newspapers and journals; business resources, homework assistance and more.

Tacoma residents - free. Non-residents - call for fee information.

Eligibility

Anyone can get a Library Card, however price will vary based on residency.   Children under 14 need a signed permission form.
