Connection Center offered by Highline Public Schools No. 401

Offers guidance to middle and high school students and their families seeking alternative school programs. Assists students and families with finding an education program that meets their needs. Alternative learning options available to Highline students include Innovation Heights Academy, Open Doors programs, GED programs, community college/career programs, online classes, and more. Assesses student transcripts, grades, attendance patterns and other individual needs before sitting down to a meeting with a student or family seeking a new school or learning environment.

Application process

Current school counselor should complete a Connections Center referral form. Referrals can also be completed by community, families, and students on the Connection Center website. Families may call to schedule a Connection Center appointment or for additional information.

None.

Eligibility

Any 9th-12th grade student in Highline Public Schools seeking information or assistance with finding an alternative program to traditional high school.
