Crime Victim Advocacy offered at Together for Youth

Provides advocacy services to victims of crimes; such as assault, robbery, property crime, identity theft, bullying, homicide (survivor of victim), kidnapping, hate crime, elder abuse, fraud, and human trafficking. A Crime Victim Advocate can accompany the victim to police interviews, court, counseling offices, attorney's office, and provide emotional support. Assists with safety planning, crime victim compensation applications, and finding shelter and transportation. Intervenes with landlords and employers on behalf of victims and provides referrals for other services.
