Programs created to ensure that all children in the region are read with at least 20 minutes a day from birth through third grade. Also provides free books to groups, schools, and individuals who put them into the hands of children.

The three-fold mission of The Children’s Reading Foundation is to: Encourage and educate families and caregivers about their important role in raising a reader. Support schools in assuring that students read on grade level by the end of third grade. Facilitate community involvement in helping young readers be successful.
