Veterinary Cancer Treatment Assistance offered by Magic Bullet Fund

Veterinary Cancer Treatment Assistance offered by Magic Bullet Fund

Provides financial assistance for cancer treatment for cats and dogs when the family is financially unable to provide treatment without assistance. Applications are reviewed to find the families in the greatest financial distress and the pets with the best chance of long survival. If it is determined that agency may provide assistance, within 1-2 days after receipt of the application and all financial documents, the application is assigned to a volunteer case manager. After the case manager receives medical and billing information from the clinic, it takes 1-2 days to send the application to the fund’s Review Board. Review Board members take 1-2 days to make decisions about the fund’s ability to provide assistance for each application. Notifies the pet's family when a decision has been made.  Arranges payment terms with the pet’s clinic, and contributes to treatments provided by that vet and that clinic. Pays the clinic directly for cancer treatments on the day of treatment.
