ABC Mentoring Program offered by Friends of Children of Walla Walla

Provides mentoring services through volunteers for children in grades K-5th during lunch and recess (approximately 1 hour per week) at their school.

Application process

Children may be referred by teachers and parents. Adult volunteers may fill out an online application form or call to request one and it will be mailed.

None.

Eligibility

Children Pre-K through 5th grades enrolled in the College Place School District and some Walla Walla public schools; call for details.Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and complete the screening process, which may include the following: application, criminal background check, reference checks, interview, 2-hour training, and match preference forms.
