Eligibility

Paralyzed veterans and their families. Must have been separated from the service in the Armed Forces under conditions other than dishonorable.

Helps clients negotiate with the Veterans Administration, file for compensation, and receive full benefits. Advocates for full implementation of Title V (Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973) and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Also offers support services including peer counseling, mental health services, and referrals to related support programs and wheelchair-related recreational activities.
