Provides primary care to older adults with complex medical issues. Services include -  Treatment and management of acute and chronic diseases -  Physical exams -  Blood tests -  Nutrition -  Foot care -  Behavioral health -  Care management Staff also provides information about safety issues relevant to seniors, such as   -  Using medications safely   -  Conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. Provides consultative care and referrals to other disciplines as needed for patients concerned about osteoporosis and other skeletal health issues.

Application process

Call for an appointment for initial geriatric clinic assessment.  Referrals from other providers accepted.

Eligibility

Adults ages 65 years and older with a geriatric syndrome such as cognitive impairment, falls and gait instability, frailty or functional decline.

Fee

Vary depending on service.  Accepts Medicare, WA Apple Health (Medicaid) and private insurance.

Harborview Medical Center's Senior Care Clinic

Provides primary care and consultative services for patients aged 65 years and older who also have a geriatric syndrome such as cognitive impairment, falls and gait instability, frailty or functional decline. Offers a range of services including geriatric medicine, psychiatry, pharmacy, nutrition, social work and nursing. Provides one-on-one teaching about safety issues relevant to seniors, such as fall assessment and prevention, using medications safely and managing conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.
