Homeownership Assistance Program offered at Habitat for Humanity - Island County

Families are selected based on need, ability to pay, and willingness to partner. Habitat families will earn their required sweat equity hours working alongside construction volunteers from their community. The house is sold to the family through an affordable mortgage.  From the time a family is selected to the time the project is completed, it is projected to take 6-24 months.
