Provides services towards building the foundation of a productive, independent and successful childhood, youth, and adulthood. Helps Washington students and their families think about and plan for life after high school through: - Career counseling - Assessments to help students determine their interests for their future careers - For ages 14 to 15, summer programs for youth who would want to explore careers and complete community service - For ages 16 through age 21, summer programs for youth who would like paid-work experience - For high-school youth or recent graduates of high school, summer programs to explore learning at a university

Email or call. Staff will travel to provide services to individuals who cannot access one of the office locations.

Eligibility

Children and youth ages birth through high school graduation who have a visual disability that makes it difficult to perform the activities necessary for school and other childhood endeavors without specialized materials, training or assistive devices.

Provides Vocational Rehabilitation services to adults, educational workshops and pre-employment services to youth, and independent living services for individuals who are not interested in pursuing careers.
