A program of the Department of Defense, provides free, confidential help and information by phone with a professionally trained consultant or online. The consultant will help you make a plan, provide customized research, refer you to helpful resources or mail you educational materials. Consultants provide information on: - Child care and parenting issues - Deployment and reunion issues - Education - Elder care - Money matters - Legal issues - Transition to civilian life - Violence and trauma - Relocation - Health - Other topics Can also coordinate free counseling non-medical services (up to 12 sessions per person, per issue), face-to-face in the local community, by telephone and online.
