Investigates grievance reports from people who believe they have been denied access to King County facilities, programs or services due to disability. Provides training and technical assistance to King County government in evaluating programs and services to help ensure accessibility to members of the public who have disabilities. Only provides assistance for access issues for facilities owned and operated directly by King County.

Eligibility
People with disabilities who have reported inaccessibility to King County programs or facilities. Incidents of alleged discrimination must have occurred in King County government agencies.

King County Office of Equity and Racial and Social Justice
Investigates and resolves complaints regarding alleged discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations and contracting occurring in unincorporated King County or against King County as an employer. Also investigates alleged discrimination in agencies and companies under contract with the King County government and ensures disability access to county government services, programs and facilities for people with disabilities. When possible, KCCR resolves complaints through mediated settlement.
