Weatherizing, repairing, and preserving homes for low-income families to help reduce the cost of heating and cooling, increase energy efficiency, and preserve quality home environment through insulation and ventilation improvements. Provides services only to lower Yakima County residents.

Eligibility

Must live in the lower Yakima valley, be low-income, and have a home in need of program eligible repairs. Serves the following cities: Brownstown, Buena, Grandview, Granger, Harrah, Mabton, Outlook, Parker, Prosser, Sunnyside, Toppenish, Wapato, White Swan, and Zillah.

NCAC is part of a group known as “America’s Poverty Fighting Network.” NCAC helps those who are at-risk and low-income so they can reach a greater level of self-support. To do this, we advocate and work with local communities and businesses. NCAC serves the mid and lower Yakima Valley. We provide Housing Support Services, Utility Assistance Services, Weatherization Services and Community Education Services.
