Day Camp offered at YMCA of the Greater Tri-Cities in Richland
Day Camp offered at YMCA of the Greater Tri-Cities in Richland
Organizes summer day camps for boys and girls ages 5-12. Campers generally swim twice per week and attend one other field trips (e.g. bowling, skating, miniature golf) and a combined all camp activity on Fridays. Camps are located throughout the Tri-Cities area (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland). However, space is limited at each location, so sign up early to guarantee your child's spot. A YMCA membership is not required. Safety: In daily programming, the YMCA puts safety as the top priority. This includes not only physical safety but the security of knowing every child is welcomed and nurtured. Policies, procedures and training are all established to keep the children in our program safe. What To Bring to Camp: Campers must bring their own lunch and beverage. The Y provides an afternoon snack. Early-morning campers can bring a morning snack. Comfortable clothing, socks, and durable closed-toe shoes is recommended; as well as a jacket or sweatshirt on cold days. All campers will participate in water play/swimming and will need to have a swimsuit, towel and sunscreen with them daily.
