Domestic Violence Shelter
Charlotte House provides a domestic violence hotline, as well as a 24-hour secure shelter and/or services for women and children who are survivors of family violence. Clients may stay in the shelter for up to 30 days, with the possibility of extension. Clients receive assistance obtaining food, clothing, medical care, transportation and other needs. Confidential services include legal and medical advocacy, counseling, and information and referrals. Advocates work with residents to develop a plan of action that is unique to each individual's/family's needs.

Provides programs for children and families with the goals of strengthening families through life-long learning, promoting self-sufficiency, and preventing family violence. Operates several child care programs, family and parenting support programs, mentoring programs, domestic violence and shelter services, and a community sexual assault program.
