Owns and operates seven multi-family affordable housing properties throughout Pierce County. These apartments vary between 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units, and are offered at or below HUD's Fair Market Rental Rates for Pierce County. Applications are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. PCHA does NOT require applicants for these units be recipients for any subsidy program.

Pierce County Housing Authority
Mission: to provide safe, decent, affordable housing and economic opportunity, free from discrimination. The Pierce County Housing Authority is a public body, corporate and politic, created by Pierce County in 1978 pursuant to State statute to provide affordable housing for low-income families in Pierce County. Today, PCHA serves over 2,500 households with Housing Choice Vouchers, and over 600 more households with affordable rental units. PCHA is governed by a Board of Commissioners, who meet on the last Wednesday of the month at 3:30 PM. This meeting is held at the PCHA campus and hybrid over Zoom.
