Family Emergency Shelter
The Family Promise Emergency Shelter is a 24/7 low-barrier walk-in emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness. We define a family as any person(s) caring for a minor child and/or who is pregnant. The Emergency Shelter provides day services such as showers, laundry, kitchen, and food access, computers, etc., case management support, and a safe, secure night shelter. Those interested should call 509-723-4663 to check on shelter space availability.

Application process
Interested parties should call 509-723-4663 before arriving at the location to ensure they are eligible for the program and that there is space available. If eligible, participants will fill out an Intake Form, complete a Washington State Background Check, and complete a National Sex Offender Registry Check. Upon receiving a clean background and sex offender registry check, participants will be asked to sign an agreement to follow shelter policies and procedures.

At its core, we help families find housing and keep housing.
