24 Hour DUI Jail Alternative Program offered at Greater Spokane Substance Abuse Council's Prevention Center
Gives DUI offenders the desire, knowledge and skills to choose to not drink and drive. Held at a local correctional facility and running for an entire 24 hour period, the program allows participants to hear stories from people who have been impacted by impaired drinking and driving. Participants then complete the Alcohol Drug Information School (ADIS) and gain insights on making appropriate decisions and changing behavior.

Works toward prevention of substance abuse and impaired driving. Programs are designed to promote the desire, knowledge and skills for making healthy choices regarding alcohol and other drugs. Also works to educate the community by providing prevention based training resources. Finally, GSSAC's Prevention Center works to organize and empower communities to create positive solutions to substance abuse.
