Eligibility
Dog or cat needs to be at least 4 months old and no longer being nursed by mother. If the animal is not licensed, the owner will be required to purchase a license before taking the pet home.

Provides licenses for dogs, cats, pot-bellied pigs and miniature goats. Enforces animal control ordinances and retrieves lost pets within the city limits of Seattle. Offers adoption services, sheltering of lost animals and pets of domestic violence victims, reduced or waived cat and dog adoption fees for older adults and people with disabilities and a low-cost spay and neuter clinic.
